My name is Nick. I am the primary writer for the folk band Frances Luke Accord (NPR: “The definition of lean-in music”) and a regular collaborator with Darlingside and Chris Dupont. Over the last ten years I have produced and/or engineered more than 20 records and have shared stages with hundreds of musicians, from Tony- and Grammy-winning artist Anaïs Mitchell to Grammy-nominated songwriter legend Mary Gauthier.

My visual art has exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Chicago. My recent work includes an illustrated chapter in my sister’s novel The Rabbit Hutch, which won the 2022 National Book Award for Fiction, the Barnes and Noble Discover Prize, and the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize.

I design logos, album covers and websites. I also recently began designing my own sample packs for sound and product designers.

I edit several podcasts and have occasionally hosted interviews with notable guests including Avatar actress Janet Varney and New York Times Best Selling author Jim Martin.
