I am Nicholas Gunty, an artist and musician from northern Indiana.
I am the primary writer and producer for the folk band Frances Luke Accord (NPR: “The definition of lean-in music”) and a regular collaborator with Darlingside and Chris Dupont. I’ve shared stages with Tony- and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and Grammy-nominated guitarist Tim Reynolds.
My visual art has exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Chicago. My recent work includes an illustrated chapter in my sister’s novel The Rabbit Hutch, which was the recipient of the 2022 National Book Award for Fiction, the Barnes and Noble Discover Prize, and the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize.
On the side, I designs logos, album covers, websites and UI sounds. I am also the audio editor of several podcasts.
