BIO

For over a decade Nicholas Gunty has been the primary writer, composer, arranger and producer for the folk band Frances Luke Accord (NPR: “The definition of lean-in music”) and a regular collaborator with Darlingside, Chris Dupont, Maggie Pope and many others. He has produced and engineered dozens of releases and has shared stages with hundreds of musicians, from Tony- and Grammy-winning artist Anaïs Mitchell to Grammy-nominated songwriter legend Mary Gauthier.

Nicholas is also a visual artist whose work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Chicago. His illustration in particular can be seen in his sister’s novel The Rabbit Hutch, which won the 2022 National Book Award for Fiction, the Barnes and Noble Discover Prize, and the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize.

Nicholas also edits several podcasts and has occasionally hosted interviews with notable guests including Avatar actress Janet Varney and New York Times Best Selling author Jim Martin.
